About Sports Map Daily

Sports Map Daily is a free daily sports geography game. Every day, five new questions about real sports venues — cricket grounds, football stadiums, tennis courts, badminton arenas and WWE event venues. Pin the location on an interactive 3D globe and score by how close your guess is to the real answer.

You do not need to sign in to play. Just choose a sport edition, read the question, and tap on the globe where you think the answer is. The closer your pin, the higher your score. A perfect round scores 1,000 points.

What makes Sports Map Daily different?

Most daily games focus on one format — a single word, a flag, or a country outline. Sports Map Daily combines the addictive daily-game format made popular by Wordle, the geography challenge of GeoGuessr and Worldle, and the depth of genuine sports trivia into a single free game.

Instead of guessing a country from its outline (like Worldle) or driving around Street View (like GeoGuessr), you get real sports trivia context — clues about a famous match, a legendary player's birthplace, or an iconic venue — and you pin it on the globe yourself. Five editions means five daily challenges: Cricket, Football, Tennis, Badminton and WWE.

The five sport editions

  • Cricket — Grounds, birthplaces and famous moments. Questions span Test grounds, IPL stadiums, historic Ashes venues and the birthplaces of legendary cricketers from across the world.
  • Football — Stadiums and the matches that made them famous. From Premier League grounds to World Cup venues, Champions League finals to La Liga cathedrals.
  • Tennis — Courts, grand slams and career-defining wins. Wimbledon, Roland Garros, the US Open, the Australian Open and the smaller tournaments where careers were launched.
  • Badminton — Arenas and the shots everyone remembers. BWF World Championships venues, Thomas Cup and Uber Cup hosts, and the home arenas of the sport's greatest players.
  • WWE — Venues, events and legendary matches. WrestleMania locations, Royal Rumble arenas, SummerSlam venues and the arenas where iconic championship matches were held.

How scoring works

Each question scores up to 100 points. The five questions in a round are multiplied by 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3 respectively, so later questions are worth more. A perfect round — 100 on every question — scores exactly 1,000 points.

If the answer is a country or a large region, tapping anywhere inside it scores the full 100. Outside it, you are scored by the distance to the nearest edge.

Daily leaderboard and streaks

Anyone can play as a guest. Signing in with Google or an email link lets you appear on the daily leaderboard, compare your score with other players, and keep your streak going across multiple devices. Each edition has its own streak and leaderboard.

A new round every day

A fresh round goes live every day at 00:00 UTC — that is midnight UTC, 1 am UK time during summer, 5 am Pakistan time and 5:30 am India time. Everybody gets the same five questions on the same day, so scores are directly comparable.
