- Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup — The home venues of national tennis associations across the world.
- Famous match locations — The court where a record-breaking title was won, a generational rivalry concluded or an underdog triumph happened.
- Player birthplaces — Where the greats of the sport were born, from Switzerland and Spain to Serbia and the USA.

Tips for the tennis round
- The four grand slams are in London (Wimbledon), Paris (Roland Garros), New York (US Open) and Melbourne (Australian Open) — always worth remembering.
- ATP Masters events are spread across the world — North America, Europe and Asia. A question about a hard-court Masters event outside the four slams is often in Indian Wells (California), Miami, Cincinnati or Shanghai.
- European clay-court season runs through Monte Carlo (Monaco), Madrid, Rome and ends at Roland Garros.
